Nancy Farrell
Artist Statement:
Nancy's Work has developed as a result of a long-standing interest in figuration & landscape. Her figurative sculptures recreate a direct narrative connetion between one's personal inner world with the environment in which we live.
Nancy's sculptures often deal with polar opposites; life and death, white and black, inside and outside & beginning and end. These are extreme parts of a single whole. These works suggest that the natural physical environment and the spiritual world are both reflected in our bodies and that in the end, they are one and the same, both parts of a greater whole.
